Supply Chain Officer
Rob Dick serves as the Supply Chain Officer for McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited. In his current role, Rob has national responsibility for Strategic Sourcing, Distribution, Quality Systems, New Food Procurement, Business Affairs, and Commodity Risk Management. Rob joined McDonald’s in July, 2007.
Prior to joining McDonald’s, Rob was a Senior Manager in a global management consulting firm. During nearly 10 years as a management consultant, Rob managed strategy, strategic sourcing and business transformation projects in a variety of industries including consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, financial services, and entertainment.
Rob was the winner of the 2009 Supply Chain Global Leadership Excellence Award. In 2011, Rob participated in the Leadership at McDonald’s Program (LAMP), a McDonald’s Global Leadership program. In 2013, Rob received the Partner for Success award, which recognizes leaders who drive McDonald’s vision. In 2015, he won a Canadian team award for a currency strategy that saved the company $75 million dollars.
Rob is a Board member of Ronald McDonald House Charities. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree, both from the University of Western Ontario.
