Regional Vice President, Western Canada
Michèle began her career with McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited in 1984 as a crew person in Ottawa, Ontario. Throughout her tenure with McDonald’s Canada, Michèle has risen through the ranks, holding a number of leadership roles in Operations and Field Service, before becoming the National Director for Training, Learning & Development in Canada in 2008.
In July 2011, Michèle joined the Global Restaurant Solutions group in the U.S as the Restaurant Management Platform Project Lead. In 2014, she took over leadership of the Worldwide Operations and Global Labor teams, developing partnerships with McDonald’s restaurants across all areas of the world.
Michèle returned to Canada in 2015 joining the Canadian Leadership Team in the role of McCafé Officer, where she was a part of several key initiatives such as the launch of Stand-Alone McCafés and the WestJet partnership.
In 2017, she accepted the newly created role of Change Lead Officer. In this role, she led the One Team approach and guided the cultural change journey during a period of unprecedented change in our system.
In January of 2019, Michèle was promoted to her current role of Regional Vice President – Western Canada where she’ll continue to utilize her spirit of collaboration and strong leadership skills as she works to accelerate business momentum in the west.
Throughout her career with McDonald’s, Michèle has received numerous accolades including Golden Arch Partner, Canadian Team Award, Golden Maple Leaf Award and the RSG Team Award.
Michèle is a former board member of the Ottawa Ronald McDonald House, a former Chair of the Canadian McDonald’s Women’s Leadership Network and a former Vice-Chair for the US Women’s Leadership Network. She also recently held the positions of Canadian Women’s Leadership Network Sponsor and Canadian Representative on the Global Women’s Leadership Network.
